Intensive training

December 22nd, 2006

I’m really enjoying my stay in the UK, and I’ve learnt a lot. Dad’s family have taken a teamwork approach to my intensive training.

Granddad has been giving me lots of intensive physical training, to help me strengthen my neck and upper body muscles especially. He likes to push me onto my stomach, and then encourage me to look up. I’m getting quite good:

Auntie Eleanor has been focusing on my abdominal muscles and legs. She has been teaching me to stand up, supporting my own weight, and also she helps me to sit up, although I can’t do it for very long:

Granny has been training me to drink from a cup, like a grown up. I like it! Here I am guzzling down some nice apple juice. And I don’t need any help holding the cup!

I’m sure you must have a wonderful time with your grandpa, grandma and aunt in UK!!! Christmas is a time for two important things - food and fun! Don’t forget to ask your mom to let you try some Christmas pudding and mince pies though they are both too sweet for me…hahahahaha!!!

Does it snow in Reading? May you have an enjoyable Christmas (no matter it is a WHITE one or not!) and a very happy and healthy new year!

Call us when you are back!

[…] I’m going to be really sad to leave England tomorrow. I’ve had such a good time here, I have really enjoyed the intensive training schedule, and trying lots of new food, and going out for walks in the freezing cold weather. […]
